Description
ERS ELITE is partnering with a prestigious global automotive manufacturing organization to identify a Cyber Security Specialist to support cybersecurity operations at a major manufacturing facility in West Point, Georgia.
This role will support the protection of enterprise information systems, networks, and digital infrastructure within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Cyber Security Specialist will assist with maintaining system security, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and ensuring the integrity of IT systems that support plant operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise networks, systems security, and manufacturing IT environments, along with strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing on systems and applications.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure secure configuration and management of systems.
- Assist in the development of security awareness training for employees.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technology.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–5 years of technical experience, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent project, computer, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work varying hours and overtime as needed.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of computer networks, hardware, and software applications.
- Knowledge of computer application development and implementation.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with SAP systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and time management skills.
