In this role, the Account Manager will maintain and develop existing business, manage and consult established customers, and seek new business opportunities within your region. When onsite with customers, you will share product knowledge and be an outstanding partner to delivering solutions.Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:

  • Planning - Prepare comprehensive strategic account plans to develop key strategies for both new and existing customers.
  • Evaluating – Listen and understand to our customer’s needs and requirements while pairing them with the best solutions. Experience with Salesforce to update and maintain all opportunities.
  • Delivering - Skillfully execute each phase of the sales process from pipeline generation to closing the deal, through value selling, design customer-centric solutions and build commercial proposals. Deliver sales activity to meet or exceed sales & margin targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Strong account management organization to facilitate customer growth in addition to new business.
  • Internal Relationship Building - Partner with X-Rite’s internal marketing team to capitalize on business opportunities. Collaborate across all internal teams to ensure we provide the best solution to our customers.
  • Travel – Ability to travel up to 50%, and able to work from home (remote) office when not traveling

Your core areas of responsibilities, as Brand Strategic Account Manager, will be:
  • Identify, manage, and close revenue opportunities for X-Rite Pantone (SaaS solutions, programs, services, maintenance contracts, hardware) directly to brand owners and to respective supply chains.
  • Collaborate with global marketing team to create relevant and targeted content to drive X-Rite’s leadership position in the market. Develop innovative approaches to building better customer intimacy.
  • Initiate new customer relationships, develop customer account strategies and tactical plans.
  • Adopt and follow standard work for Sales, including daily management practices and regular use of SalesForce.com and Smartsheet.com.
  • Design and deliver customer-centric solutions and commercial proposals, effectively steer and expedite sales process through customer hurdles (legal, IT), and secures Purchase Orders in a timely fashion.
Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphics Communications, Packaging, Business or Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of high-level sales experience and success in selling SaaS solutions software, plus implementation services, preferable within agency, pre-media, or brand owner environment.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Highly developed Account Management skills and experienced in a structured sales environment with a proven success record.
  • Industry knowledge of packaging design to final production; and experience in related domains is an asset.
  • Industry knowledge of color quality and print quality; and experience in related domains is an asset.
  • Highly developed team selling skills.
  • Strong account management organization to maximize customer growth in addition to new business.
  • Ability to travel through the region, between 50% - 75%.
  • Ability to effectively perform the entire above-mentioned essential job functions.
