NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted, MN is seeking a Production Operator 1 to join our Transportation & Infrastructure (Pole) team. The Production Operator 1 is responsible for entry-level manufacturing tasks following product specifications. This includes using power tools to grind and drill.

Job Title: Production Operator 1
Location: Winsted, MN
Salary Range: $19.13 – 22.50 per hour (Non-Exempt)
(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)
Shift Schedule: 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3pm – 1am OR Weekend shift Friday – Sunday 5am – 5pm
Shift Differential: 2nd shift - $1.50/hour OR Weekend shift – N/A

As a Production Operator 1, you will:

• Perform clean-up, grinding, drilling, straightening, blast booth, cutting, galvanizing process preparation and general production support tasks
• Use a hoist or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as required
• Examine finished products for defects
• Accurately label all parts for routing to the next operation 
• Monitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequence
• Enter job data in production tracking system
• Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE
• Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements

Role qualifications as a Production Operator 1:

• Experience with mechanical machines or devices, preferring electrical and/or mechanical assembly
• High attention to detail 
• Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills
• Skill to operate various precision measuring tools and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, operating instructions, procedures and prints
• Ability to perform basic shop math functions
• Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork 
• Ability to electronically record production information
• Ability to work with others as part of a high-performance team
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities
