Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Environmental Health & Safety Leadership Development Program, a fast-paced, 2-year rotational program designed to develop future EHS leaders. Participants will experience two 12-month rotations, gaining hands-on experience in key EHS areas like Environmental Compliance, Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Workers Compensation, Sustainability, Hazardous Waste Management, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Disability Management, and Local & Federal Regulation Compliance through challenging assignments across various departments.  This program includes mentorship from senior EHS executives, customized training, and networking opportunities to prepare individuals for future leadership roles within the EHS function.  
 


Responsibilities:

  • Rotational Assignments: Engage in two dynamic 12-month rotations, taking on key roles such as EHS Specialist, Environmental Analyst, and Sustainability Specialist to drive impactful business outcomes.  
  • Strategic Project Contributions: Contribute to diverse functional projects and assignments, gaining valuable insights into the alignment of EHS strategies with overarching business goals.  
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Operate within a collaborative team environment, receiving guidance and mentorship from your assigned rotation manager to enhance your professional growth.  
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, fostering a network of support and collaboration.  
  • Leadership Development Conferences: Participate in targeted in-person leadership development conferences designed to enhance your leadership capabilities, business acumen, and technical expertise.  
  • Presentations: Seize opportunities to present your findings and strategic recommendations to management, showcasing your analytical and communication skills. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field  
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred  
  • Dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proactive approach  
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions  
  • Innovative problem solver, adept at finding creative solutions  
  • Highly adaptable, thriving in fast-paced and evolving environments  
  • Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives  
  • Resourceful in addressing and resolving EHS-related issues.  

 

Mobility:

Applicants must be open and prepared to relocate for all rotational assignments, with the flexibility to travel and reside anywhere in the U.S. This adaptability will facilitate dynamic rotations, offering extensive exposure and fostering the development of both functional and leadership skills.
