How You'll Create Possibilities

As a Commodity Buyer, you’ll develop and lead international sourcing strategies for your assigned commodities. Your work will directly impact our cost structure, supplier performance, and long-term product success. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure a stable supply chain and continuous improvement across your portfolio.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials and manufactured components
• Deliver cost savings through negotiation and redesigns
• Lead quoting, negotiations, and purchase order issuance
• Act as a subject matter expert on assigned commodities—understanding materials, markets, and supplier capabilities
• Partner with engineering, quality, and materials teams to solve challenges and identify opportunities
• Drive supplier lead-time reduction and consolidation initiatives
• Monitor supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or program/commodity management
• Proven skills in negotiation, supplier selection, and contract execution
• Strong project leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or business
• 2+ years of sourcing experience with a focus on commodity-specific purchasing
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments
• Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) in an operations, R&D, or manufacturing setting
• Six Sigma or equivalent certification
