• Job Description: This role supports employee engagement initiatives by organizing and participating in employee recognition events, coordinating and setting up experiences across Appliance Park, and creating promotional content to communicate programs, activities, and events to create positive employee experiences. This includes meeting with employees to capture recognition and award moments. This role will contribute to the broader People and Culture initiatives.• Help organizing and participating with Employee Recognition Moments.
• Help coordinate and set up Employee Engagement Experiences at Appliance Park by working with the different Buildings HR Team.
• Create Communication pieces (Flyers, PowerPoint slides, Sign-up sheets, Video content creation and editing for internal company-wide social media platform, etc.)
• Willing to interact and engage employees with Contest and Giveaway Moments
• Participation with Engagement experiences with People and Culture Team
• Research effective Employee Engagement and Employee Experience activities and Retention Efforts to present to HR Leaders.
• Provide support in other HR special projects, tasks, needs, and initiatives
• Enter information into a Data Tracker for People and Culture metrics and initiatives

- Required Qualifications
- Either completed or Pursing Bachelors or better in Human Resources, Communication, Area of Hospitality, or related field.
- Be able to work up to 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday during typical business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Be available on occasion for special employee engagement events outside of normal work hours, but this would be discussed in advance.
- Due to the nature of this position, candidate must be local to the Louisville, KY or surrounding area. This position is ineligible for housing & relocation benefits.
- Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; GE Appliances will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Public Speaking
- Video editing skills
- Familiarity with Canva or marketing/design skills and social media platforms/best practices preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
