YOUR IMPACT
The Redwood Software Customer Education team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Learning Operations Specialist to help grow and scale the Redwood University training program. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) platform and exploring innovative solutions, including the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance learning experiences and operational efficiency. This position requires a strong understanding of educational technology, exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful online learning experiences.
Manage the day-to-day administration of the LMS, including site design and interface, efficient implementation of eLearning content, building and running comprehensive reports, configuring user roles, permissions, and course structures, and conducting proactive system audits to promptly identify and resolve issues.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for learning system configurations and integrations, liaising with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure optimal performance and seamless data flow.
Keep up with industry trends and emerging education technologies, including the potential applications of AI in learning (e.g., personalized learning paths, intelligent content recommendations, automated support), and contribute to the evaluation and implementation of relevant enhancements to the Redwood University program.
Establish and maintain technical standards for the LMS and related learning systems, including new implementations such as data migrations, integrations, and APIs.
Own and manage all LMS inquiries, efficiently resolving functional issues within the system, providing timely and accurate responses to stakeholder questions, and addressing issues ranging from simple to complex with a deep understanding of LMS functionalities.
Manage relationships with learning system vendors, leading RFPs for new tools and platforms, and partnering with each vendor to ensure all systems are up-to-date, optimally utilized, and aligned with our evolving needs.
Maintain comprehensive learning system documentation, ensuring that essential information is readily accessible for reference, training, and efficient troubleshooting.
Analyze LMS usage trends and data, providing actionable recommendations on how to fully optimize systems and leverage potential AI insights to achieve key business goals and improve learner outcomes.
Own all aspects of user management, including processing access requests, ensuring data validation and integrity, conducting regular audits, and scaling processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of providing Redwood University access to both customers and employees.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or other related fields.
4-5 years of hands-on Learning Management System Administration experience in a corporate training environment (Skilljar LMS experience is a significant plus).
Proficiency in HTML and CSS for customization and interface improvements; JavaScript proficiency is a strong plus.
Proven experience with integrations of enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.
Strong technical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
Adept at streamlining manual processes, providing robust support and maintenance for technology platforms, and resolving customer issues efficiently in a fast-paced technology environment.
A genuine passion for learning and proactively staying updated with industry trends in e-learning, LMS technologies, and the potential of AI in education.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively as a team player.
Superior organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changes in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams and individuals at all organizational levels and across global regions.
Familiarity with e-learning standards, such as SCORM, AICC, cmi5, and xAPI.
Project Management experience and/or relevant certifications.
Experience exploring or implementing AI-powered features or tools within a learning environment.
