Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Upper St. Clair

• Start Date: November 1st, but flexible for the right fit
• Hours: Monday to Friday, hours between 12 pm - 8 pm with the schedule discussed a month in advance; 35 guaranteed hours/week with flexibility for the occasional weekend hours, date night, or family event.
• Hourly Rate: $25-35
• Children: 9-year-old and 7-year-old twins
• Pets: 9-year-old Labradoodle
• Paid Vacation: One week paid of the family’s choice, one week paid of the nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays
• *Those with a background in therapy, special education, or behavioral health are encouraged to apply (though it's not a requirement!).*

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Do you love stepping into the beautiful chaos of a busy family and making everything run just a little bit smoother? This warm, fun Upper St. Clair crew is looking for a nanny who can be both Mom’s extra set of hands and the kids’ favorite playmate. They’re hoping for someone who will stay with them for years to come, becoming part of the family’s rhythm and adventures. With three energetic school-aged children, afternoons and evenings are filled with therapy runs, homework check-ins, sports gear, art projects, and imaginative play—and that’s before you factor in walking the dog or tidying the playroom. These kids are lively, affectionate, and full of personality. One of them is a true miracle child, thriving in therapies and making incredible progress—a reminder of the beauty in resilience and small wins. She will need some encouragement and assistance with potty training, dressing for the day, and distraction from screens by substituting play, reading, or activities (she LOVES playing with her sitters/previous nanny!). All three children adore creative play, active adventures, and keeping life interesting with a healthy dose of humor and the occasional prank. When the kids are in school (all three are full-time), you’ll help Mom keep the household humming—tackling laundry, dishes, light dinner prep, organizing, and making sure the Labradoodle gets his share of attention. Afternoons shift into carpools (family vehicle provided if needed), therapies, outings to the park, or building forts at home. This family also loves to travel and hopes their nanny will join them for adventures near and far (all expenses covered, of course). Because water play is part of their family fun, being a confident swimmer is a must. Mom is as wonderful as she is busy—deeply involved with her kids, yet stretched thin—and what she needs most is a warm, proactive nanny who can blend right in, take initiative, and bring steady, playful energy into this lively home.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
