What You’ll Get to Do

The 2^nd Shift Supervisor – Custom Entrances is focused on supervising and training  and is hands on, articulate, and driven leader who can move with urgency to drive results. and reports to the Plant Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who is an organized leader and has good interpersonal management skills.  A vital member of the Custom Entrances Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all personnel, prior to the start of shift, are wearing the correct safety equipment and that safety awareness is maintained throughout the shift.
• Ensure that all safety and incident reporting procedures are followed as well as all individuals are properly trained and their job functions are being performed correctly.
• Report to maintenance and/or safety personnel any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions and/or maintenance.
• Supervise personnel and coordinate production work-flow.
• Ensure all production schedules are completed at the end of the shift and that company quality standards are met each day.
• Perform performance evaluations for direct reports.

What We Are Looking For

• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting
• Must have a proven track record of excellent leadership abilities and meeting production deadlines
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and work well under pressure in an organized and timely manner
• Must be safety conscious and must be detail and quality oriented
• Must have the ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
