What we are looking for

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Financial Analyst, FP&A who is able to hit the ground running!   

 

This position will be responsible for the preparation of reports, compiling information, analyzing data, reporting key metrics, and developing and maintaining consistent, actionable data for analytics. To that end, the analyst will need to work with different types of data such as financial statements, operational metrics, industry research, macroeconomic data and more. This position will also require heavy use of data / business intelligence tools and strong Excel proficiency is a must. The candidate must be comfortable with a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment. They must also be comfortable with ambiguity and with decision making with limited data.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical and current financial data.
  • Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision-making.
  • Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.
  • Establish benchmarks for financial processes.
  • Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation.
  • Create reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals. 
  • Develop forecasting / budgeting tools & process.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly data and reports to support various teams and initiatives.
  • Maintain & develop Power BI dashboards.
  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Analyze data, identify and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Work within a team sharing ideas, developing solutions, and making improvements as well as independently on reporting and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Education, Experience and Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, or related area. Or 3 years' experience in financial analytics related roles.
Experience: Advanced Excel Skills required. Power Query, Power BI, and SQL preferred.
