Description

We are seeking an experienced Buyer with a strong focus on Memory components to join our Shenzhen team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, verifying, and procuring memory-related electronic components based on order details or management direction. This role plays a critical part in driving gross profit through    strategic sourcing, supplier development, and market insights. The Buyer will also contribute to supply chain strategies and ensure project/order objectives are achieved.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and procurement; experience required in purchasing electronic components and commodities specifically memory.
  • Identification and qualification of potential suppliers, particularly with the global memory supply chain. 
  • Develop, manage, and leverage strong supplier relationships, both new and existing to support long-term business needs and secure competitive pricing, delivery, and quality. 
  • Identify and verify qualified materials using online, internal, and external sources.
  • Trend analysis and negotiations to achieve best results
  • Market analysis of memory commodity trends, costs, and target customers to maintain the latest knowledge of the market and contribute to internal & external reporting.
  • Purchase order placement, management, and order expediting.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain strategies.
  • Meet objectives and KPIs as directed.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in purchasing electronic components and commodities (with Strong focus in memory).
  • Strong, active supplier relationships within the memory component industry are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing short and long-term requirements in a fast-paced changing environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent   
  • Able to work under pressure and effectively manage stress.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and respond appropriately and professionally to customers, colleagues, or direct reports in situations of conflict.
  • Goal-oriented, ambitious, extremely motivated.
  • Professional demeanor.
