Summary

We are recruiting for a Senior Manager of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) who will manage core finance processes for the Company.  These processes include: Reporting, Forecasting and Annual Budgeting.  This position will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive strategic decision support and working cross-functionally with all areas of the company to drive business performance.  In addition, this position will be responsible for managing the capital related processes and analyzing expenditures.  The role will provide significant exposure to senior management, and will partner extensively with colleagues across Finance, Engineering, IT and the Foods and Agribusiness business units.  The Senior Manager will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and interact frequently with other executives throughout the company.

We prefer someone be on site at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Offices with relocation asisstance available for qualified canidates.  Remote work within 4-5 hours driving distance and a minimum of one week travel per month to Corporate offices required can be considered.

The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000  per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports. Provide analysis of financial performance on monthly & quarterly basis, while calling out risks & identifying opportunities. This includes variance insights, tracking cost savings initiatives and developing presentations for the Company’s Board of Directors, Lenders and Family meetings.  Responsible for the accuracy, preparation & analysis of all monthly financial reports & analyses.
• Lead the company’s capital forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes.  Review & prepare materials for Company’s monthly Capital Committee meeting.  Collaborate with key business partners on preparing monthly presentations and consolidating the quarterly rolling Capital forecasts.
• Provide strategic decision support to drive business performance.  This includes leading special projects across the company, analyzing financial statements (i.e. Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), and conducting competitor benchmarking.
• Assists Corporate Accounting in the monthly and year-end close processes. Provide support for Treasury-related activity, including Credit Facility and analysis of capital structure & debt restructuring. 
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to automate corporate reports and implement digital finance executive dashboards
• Provide ad-hoc analyses for senior management whenever necessary, ensuring tight deadlines are always met.
• Assist Director & VP with business process re-engineering activities as needed.  Assist with the growth & development of other team members.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance/business related field). 
• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience or business-related financial analysis experience, with working knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Proven track record of managing and developing direct reports.
• Maintain a detail-oriented approach, have strong analytical ability; be able to deal with ambiguity, synthesize complex data and draw business insights.
• Creative problem solver that can identify patterns from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive and actionable analyses.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects within tight timelines.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate point of view to all levels of management.
• Be able to maintain an executive presence with senior management.
• Have a “Change Agent” mindset.
• Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment.
• Trustworthy with confidential/sensitive information.
• Reliability (attendance and timeliness) important to ensure execution of deliverables.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
