Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a result-driven team leader to work with the Fulfillment Center Supervisor in monitoring and leading a team of associates in achieving timely and accurate processing of customer orders. The Fulfillment Center Lead plays a key role as part of the Fulfillment Center team. Responsibilities include providing guidance, instruction, and training and utilizing leadership skills to inspire the team to perform optimally. Successful Fulfillment Leads have a minimum of two years of experience leading a Fulfillment team, have extensive knowledge of the fulfillment picking and processing of orders, be goal-driven. 

An outstanding team leader is dependable and displays excellent interpersonal skills to build quality relationships with the team and efficiently manage the team's day-to-day activities.

• Actively lead and mentor fulfillment associates.  
• Build a valuable work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities/tasks.
• Motivate the team to achieve fulfillment center department goals. 
• Develop order processing goals and coordinate with the team to meet steadily. 
• Train staff in areas of fulfillment, order processing, and company policies.
• Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor stock levels of supplies at packer stations and ensure proper replenishment
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly to reduce errors in shipping orders
• Quality control pulled totes and orders for accuracy and completeness
• Perform audits of inventory levels to ensure that items are stocked at optimal levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs
• Identify opportunities to update or improve procedures and make recommendations to the manager.
• Assist fulfillment associates with duties where required.
• Perform additional responsibilities where needed.

Requirements

• Punctual and reliable attendance. Dependable and strong work ethic
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of leadership experience leading teams of 10 or more
• 2+ years of Fulfillment order processing experience. 
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and reliable work practices are a must.
• Critical thinker who can adapt standards and develop new processes.
• Resiliency; respond well to constructive feedback.
• An enthusiastic, positive person who embraces work with a sense of urgency and persistence
• Must have reliable transportation
• Maintain stamina for up to eight hours a day of physical labor, including walking, standing, lifting, squatting, bending, packing, and moving around the warehouse. 
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in daily duties.
• Perform assigned tasks timely and accurately
• Tolerate an environment where temperature and noise levels vary
• Follow instructions and exercise independent judgment, sound reasoning, and problem-solving skills. 
• Read and understand instructions and customer orders, hear and communicate verbally. 
• Handle several projects simultaneously
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time
