Job Summary: This position is for a PERSONNEL SECURITY SPECIALIST, PD# D2469000, part of the Nevada Air National Guard. This position is located at the Air National Guard Wing Information Protection Offices. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, to implement and administer the personnel security program for the wing. The employee is under the chief of information protection and ensures all personnel security standards are met for every member of the wing.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; be able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material; have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats; demonstrate the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures; learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels; must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade for one of the seven organizational program disciplines and its applicable Security Series career. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level (GS-09).
