Duquesne Club is seeking a part time Pot Washer. Schedule varies according to business Monday through Saturday.  The Club is closed on Sunday except New Year’s Day and Mother’s Day. The goal of the Club is to work together as a team so that our members receive impeccable service and have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include keeping the dish pantry and surrounding areas clean including keeping the floors safe and free of spills. Pot Washer cleans pots, cooking utensils and other kitchen equipment by hand, may assist other kitchen workers with other tasks. Must follow guidelines when handling recycling material and cleaning products. Collects garbage from various areas of the Club and transports it to the rubbish area on the outside dock. Other duties as assigned.

Position requires mobility and dexterity to bend, stoop, grasp, reach, twist, etc. One would be required to stand/walk during entire shift or incorporate all activities into their shift. Physical strength and capability to manually push, lift and transport items (approximately 50 pounds (lifting) and 100 pounds (pushing). Employees assigned to pulling Queen Mary trucks must have physical strength to keep truck under control at all times.
