Overview:

Experienced APP needed to support physicians with improving documentation and coding, to positively impact clinical outcomes, patient safety, the patient experience, provider efficiency, and physician satisfaction.

About the Opportunity:

  • On-site position based at our flagship campus in Pinehurst, NC.
  • Responsible for assisting medical staff with ensuring complete, accurate, and concise medical records.
  • Develops and delivers training designed to improve clinical documentation.
  • Performs analysis and special projects; serves on committees as requested.
  • Full-time position, weekday schedule.

Qualifications:
  • NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
  • PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of advanced practice experience in Internal Medicine required.
  • CDS certification or ability to obtain.
  • Must have exceptional documentation skills and extensive EMR experience (EPIC preferred).
  • Knowledge of patient safety indicators and hospital acquired conditions required.
  • The successful candidate will be detail oriented and have strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and non-clinical professionals.
  • Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required.
