Job Summary 

As a Senior Oracle, SQLServer (14081), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design, implement, and optimize database architectures for Oracle, SQL and other RDBMS databases.
• Lead and execute database migration, upgrade and optimization projects from on-premises to cloud or newer database versions.
• Develop migration strategies, rollback plans, and risk assessments for database transitions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
• Implement database security best practices, including role-based access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Collaborate with application teams, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless database integration.

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.  
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.  
• Professional/ Advanced English skills. 
• 8+ years of experience in database architecture, design, administration, and migrations.
• Expertise in Oracle Database (versions 11g, 12c, 19c, etc.), Microsoft SQL Server and other RDBMS
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning, performance optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Experience in migrating databases from on-premises to cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, Shell Scripting, and Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for database deployment.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (ERD, normalization, etc.).
• Knowledge of high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
