About the Position:
The Licensing Specialist is responsible for foster home recruitment and retention. This may include licensing and monitoring foster homes, responding to licensing complaints, completing foster home investigations and/or developing and enforcing corrective action plans on foster homes. This also includes activities related to placement of children in foster homes, processing referrals from internal and external referral sources, assisting with placement stabilization and crisis intervention. This position may include assisting with the coordination, development and implementation of foster parent training. This position is responsible for assisting in the accurate record keeping of placement information, including 906 and respite information.
