The Material Analyst is based in our Franklin Park, IL headquarters.  In this role you will be responsible for the planning and procurement of materials, Kanban levels, inventory levels, and inventory accuracy. This position will be responsible to review requisitions and release purchase orders to various suppliers. Additionally, the Material Analyst will be responsible to work exception reports to manage inventory and increase our Order to Cash metrics. The position will analyze sales and usage on items stocked to ensure the appropriate SKU’s and quantity are available.

 

What you will do

  • Analyze data for planning and release, shortage resolution, ordering and inventory analysis.
  • Execute decisions as an outcome from the Sales and Operations Planning Meetings.
  • Provide delivery date commitments on work in process and finished goods products to operations manager, materials manager and Customer Service.
  • Prepares purchasing requisition, generate Purchase Orders; work with supplier to ensure parts are delivered on time to Purchase Order schedules.
  • Monitor inventory level to avoid excess inventory, inventory shortages and or inventory inaccuracies.
  • Maintain proper SKU's and inventory levels.
  • Work with Quality personnel to resolve supplier quality issues.
  • Work with New Product Development on engineering changes to minimize obsolescence.

 

What we are looking for:

  • <1 year Materials experience
  • Advanced level experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrates clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions, consistent with an inclusive work environment.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Works independently.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ Years Materials, sourcing or operations.
  • Logistics  (APICS, ISM)
  • Advanced level experience working with SAP ERP Business System.

  Compensation:

The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $X - $X annually.

This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive  plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis.

Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
