This position is an interim. Planned term is from January 5 to April 20 (estimated)

 

Job Expectations:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the learner.
  • Be able to develop an appropriate learning environment with effective classroom management.
  • Be able to communicate effectively.
  • Be able to use effective instructional methods.
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and plan the instructional program.
  • Demonstrate skills in evaluating the instructional program and student progress.
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate willingness to grow professionally.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of subject area.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and Tennessee teaching license with one of the following endorsements: 007, 121, 159, 407
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Requires the Middle Grades endorsement.
  • Salary paid in accordance with the Teacher Salary Schedule.
