Ventia is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our team supporting the newly secured Field Module contract with NBN Co. This is a newly created role offering the chance to be part of a high-impact, long-term telecommunications project.

As a Billing Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition and claim submissions for Ventia’s Field Module contract and you’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage billing processes and resolve claim discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate data for revenue recognition and billing aligned with contractual obligations
• Coordinate claim submissions and subcontractor RCTI confirmations
• Manage documentation for client claims (e.g. Stat Decs, insurance policies)
• Address and resolve rejected claims, ensuring accurate resubmission
• Partner with Commercial, Project, and Validation teams to optimise cashflow
• Maintain a healthy ledger and support financial analysis reporting
• Guide junior team members in billing and collection processes

What we’re looking for

• Strong Excel skills (e.g. XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
• Experience with large data sets and billing processes in operations or maintenance projects
• Detail-oriented, logical, and efficient
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
