What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Intern to join our dynamic production team at our NYC office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production, editing, and asset management while working alongside industry professionals. As a Production Intern, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organizational structure of projects and supporting the editing team with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organizational structure for projects to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Ingest, transcode, and upload media to the cloud, preparing it for editing.

  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.

  • Learn to edit on-brand content for a variety of clients and project types.

  • Initiate the archive process for completed projects.

  • Assist the team of editors with project setup and provide editing support.

  • Manage and maintain the video review platform Frame.IO.

What you should have:

  • Must be based in NYC and available to work from our production office.

  • Highly organized with the ability to follow technical directions and adhere to standards of excellence in editing workflows.

  • Proficient with Apple Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • Basic knowledge of editing workflows, including file management/organization, transcoding/proxy generation, ingesting media, creating multicams, storytelling, basic color correction/grading, and export settings.

  • Familiarity with basic asset management.
