Job Overview

Komatsu is currently searching for a Motor Winder for our 2nd shift operations in our motor shop in Longview, Texas.  Komatsu offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits and annual merit/bonus potential.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Work safe and be an advocate for safety
• Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the winder position
• Clean and maintains equipment, tooling and area
• Select and load materials such as work pieces and machine parts onto equipment used in the
winding process
• Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation and coils using hand tools
• Make accurate connections using solder and brazing process and equipment
• Set up and operate all of the equipment and tooling required for the winder position

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2 years of experience or equivalent knowledge of motor/coil winding duties
• Broad knowledge of parts and procedures regarding the motor/coil winding process
• Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances, minimizing scrap all within standard routing
hours and with an excellent attention to detail
• Strong blue-print reading skills
• Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical and drug test

Hiring Range 

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
