Position Overview:
Envision Food Services is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support HR operations at our Fort Leonard Wood location. The HR Assistant will play a key role in maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, processing payroll and benefits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal employment regulations.
This role is ideal for an organized, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting both employees and management in daily HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with employee onboarding, new hire orientation, and processing personnel files.
Maintain and update employee records in both electronic and hard copy formats.
Support payroll administration by reviewing timesheets and resolving discrepancies.
Assist with benefits enrollment and general benefits-related inquiries.
Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence, memos, and reports.
Help coordinate recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
Support HR audits and reporting as required.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support.
Working knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, and employment laws.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
