X-Ray Technician - Prince Frederick - Full Time or Part Time

About the Role:

The X-Ray Technician position in Prince Frederick offers a vital role in supporting podiatry healthcare services by performing diagnostic imaging procedures focused on the lower extremities. Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with a valid state license to perform X-ray imaging.
• Demonstrated experience or training in podiatric radiography or related diagnostic imaging.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection standards.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment and related software proficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a podiatry or orthopedic clinical setting.
• Additional certification or training in advanced imaging techniques related to musculoskeletal or podiatric care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital imaging software.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in patient education regarding imaging procedures and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures specifically related to podiatry, including feet and ankle radiographs.
