Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)
Department: Ecommerce | Reports To: Tyler Perrin
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office

Key Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

·         System utilization and optimization to support day to day production – from file delivery to

finished product

·         Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on equipment

·         Correct service errors by providing defect repair, programming corrections and any other

·         necessary repairs.

·         Determine root cause or escalate

·         Optimize machine Uptime and productivity

·         Quality control via training & best practices from file type to curing and platform maintenance

·         Facilitate Operator training & productivity

·         Basic applications to optimize cost, quality and speed

·          Be able to interpret machine analytics and troubleshooting job issues and collaborate with teams on solutions to ensure       correct action is taken when process issues are discovered

•      Ability to work flexible or irregular hours which may include weekends and holidays

•      Perform other duties as assigned by manager

·         Document all system issues in Kornet’s CRM application

·         Close and document all cases

·         Keep detailed case records and documents

·         Take and attach digital pictures and or videos as appropriate, and enter Case in

·         Report on Parts consumption

·         Cost effective parts control, inventory, ordering

·         Supports Maintenance team on as needed basis

Qualifications

Your experience brings:

·         Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, common fractions, decimals, and percentages

·         Must demonstrate problem solving ability with attention to detail

·         Read and understand technical manuals.

                     Must demonstrate analytical abilities,

                     Ability to multitask

                     Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with shifting demands Ability to work flexible or irregular hours which            may include weekends and holidays

·         Proficiency with MS Office (other Program/Project level tools acceptable)

·         Experience with: Hand, power, and other tools.

·         Safety protocols: lockout, tag-out, safety harnesses

·         Experience with WMS, WSS, Merchandise Management and/or Inventory Management Systems

  • Material handling systems and programmable controllers a plus

·         Electronic controls as well as electric motors of various sizes.

·         Automated sortation systems including Air, pneumatic, controls

·         Preventative maintenance procedures

 

 

 


Education & Experience

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required

·         2-5 years’ experience working as a maintenance mechanic/technician with specialty equipment

·         Experience with DTG Printing a plus

·         Bilingual Spanish is a plus

·         Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form

·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individual corporate and distribution center employees

·         Written and verbal communication with associates and leadership

 

 


Work Environment & Physical Demands

·         Ability to handle medium-sized physical labor including lifting, bending, stooping and reaching while working in a warehouse environment

  • Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time

·         Ability to occasionally lift and/or between 10-40 lbs.

  • Ability to occasionally utilize ladders or balance and kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Must have the ability to use computers and automated controls
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and inspect materials on product
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, high-volume, mechanized environment
  • Typical warehouse environment with moderate level noise exposure

·         Ability to be flexible and work varied hours/days/shifts to maintain the required level of service

Compensation:

Hourly Range: $27-32


What to Expect

Schedule: Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.
Work Location: Irvine, CA — minimum of 5 days per week in-office.
