SAP eCommerce Job description

Looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Support Engineer to provide technical and functional support for SAP Commerce Applications. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, perform system monitoring, and ensure the smooth operation of the e-commerce platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing all deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• 6-8+ years' experience with Planning, Architecting, Developing, Customizing & Configurating of a large/global scale SAP e-commerce platform (B2C and B2B platforms).  
• Leading design, development, documentation and implementation using SAP Commerce and meet project objectives within specified time frame parameters and defined requirements.  
• In-depth development experience across multiple projects is a must.
• Expertise in SAP e-commerce platform (B2C and B2B platforms), customizing e-Commerce Applications, CMS and e-commerce suite.  
• Strong understanding of the entire eCommerce development process.  
• Serve as knowledge expert for sourcing "Deep Dive" solution architecture information, including issues arising from globalization and localization.  
• Prepare design diagrams, test/debug programs, and perform solution configuration leveraging an understanding of business process, industry trends, and systems architecture, as needed.  
• Design and develop high quality backend and frontend code that meets business objectives, quality standards and secure web development guidelines.  
• Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing. Ability to effectively perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis), debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be reported as a result of faults in the production system.  
• Manage support functions including project milestones, working closely with Development, QA, Release Management, Operations, and end users.  
•  Spontaneous and adaptive to new environments, applications and methods. Always looking for more effective approaches to getting work done.  
• Strong integration experience with Internal Systems and 3rd Party Vendor systems in both Synchronous & Asynchronous method

Technologies: 

·      Hybris Commerce platform 

·      Endeca & SOLR search engines 

·      Frontend technologies such as Adobe AEM, Hybris WCMS 

·      Messaging and RESTful services 

·      Data modeling and extension to support custom business objects. 

·      Integration with external Payment Processors and understanding of related concepts such as hosted

       payment pages, direct API integration, and tokenization. 

·      Extension of commerce sub-systems such as promotions, pricing, inventory, and customer service 

·      Experience with the following Hybris modules: Product Cockpit, Customer Service, WCMS, OMS 

·      Various caching- and in-memory data grid solutions, like EhCache or Oracle Coherence 

·      Various integrations with CDN, social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) and customer experience analysis

        solutions (Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice), etc. 

·      JIRA, Rally, Git, Confluence

·      Expertise with SAP Hybris tools including Management Console, Administration Console, Cockpits, Cron
