The Humanities (I&S) Subject Lead (specialism in Geography preferred) will seek to plan and implement an appropriate, school-aligned instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic and personal potential. In addition, all teachers participate in our student Personal Development Programme as a Homeroom Teacher or teacher of our MYP ‘Core’ Programme. We also expect all our staff to support an ethos of holistic learning through their support of an after school club, activity or sport. It is also an expectation that staff contribute to our Personal Development Week by leading/and or taking part in a residential trip for at least 5 days in term time with students.
The successful applicant would also be eligible to be considered for the position of ‘Subject Leader: Humanities faculty’. Additional information about the responsibilities associated with that role can be found here.
This is a full-time position and will begin in August of 2026.
