As Business Unit Automotive & Speciality Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.

Your new responsibilities

The OSRAM SYLVANIA team is looking for a Multi-Project Management (MPM) Product Specialist who has a passion for the Automotive industry, a great analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to transform customer needs into product specifications. You will work in a cross-functional environment between R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing. As an MPM Product Specialist, you will facilitate completion of projects spanning across multiple product lines.
Our team is looking for a contributor who will manage the product lifecycle activities for an Automotive Lighting portfolio within OSRAM SYLVANIA that supports its strategic initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project management
  • Provide clear direction on requirements for projects within the area of responsibility
  • Drive high-quality deliverables, including project timelines & reports, business cases, customer documents, etc.
  • Support product lines at various stages of life cycle: contributing to product roadmaps, portfolio adjustments, and product strategy
  • Daily interaction and collaboration with cross-functional teams


Who we are looking for


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Automotive industry
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, execution, and communication
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced lookup functions and pivot tables
  • Availability to travel 20%
  • Experience in the APQP process would be a plus.
