About the Role: Bachelor Mental Health Counselor – Early Childhood Consultation
The Early Childhood Consultation team at North Range Behavioral Health provides evidence-based, compassionate support to promote healthy social and emotional development and mental health for young children and their caregivers.
This is a unique position that provides Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) consultative support as well as interventions. The ECMH consultant works collaboratively with the Early Childhood Education staff, programs, and families to improve their ability to prevent, identify, treat, and reduce the impact of mental health challenges among children from birth to eight years of age. Ultimately, early childhood mental health consultation seeks to achieve positive outcomes for infants and young children in early childhood settings by using an indirect approach to fostering their social and emotional well-being. The ECMH consultation team works primarily in community, childcare centers, and home settings, supporting the adult caregivers of young children.
