OVERVIEW AND ROLE SCOPE OF TEAM AND/OR TASKS
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data extraction and processing.
• Harness programming and analytical tools extract, transform, load, and analyze data from the Banner/Workday ERP and a variety of other internal and external data sources.
• Ensure data integrity through meticulous validation processes and delivery of diagnostic reporting to team members
• Develop and maintain data models for financial reporting and analysis and the delivery of operational tools such as position management systems and salary planners.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights, guiding revenue optimization, cost management, and resource allocation strategies for both CMU’s educational core and auxiliary services.
• Analyze performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to enhance performance.
• Develop executive-level financial reports highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Generate dynamic reports and dashboard, translating complex data into clear, understandable insights.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their objectives and translate them into data requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data analysis.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights.

ESSENTIALEXPERIENCE FOR RIGHT FIT
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or 5 years of related experience involving technology-driven analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Education and demonstrated proficiency in programming and query languages including SQL and Python.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Power Query and/or Power BI (M and DAX).
• Experience in business-oriented financial analysis and human resource planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build effective relationships across departments.
