AGS is a leading owner and operator of Riverina-based grain storage infrastructure with capacity exceeding one million tonnes. A wholly owned subsidiary of SunRice, AGS operates 18 storage facilities which receive, store and grade rice paddy and cereals
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Deniliquin team. You’ll support electrical operations across the plant, balancing planned maintenance with urgent breakdowns, and contributing to safety, quality, and production goals. This is a day shift role and will work across all AGS depots in the Southern Riverina, based out of the Deniliquin SunRice facility
What you’ll do:
- Conduct planned maintenance activities across multiple sites.
- Diagnose faults and proactively manage equipment and process breakdowns
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve plant reliability and efficiency
- Follow safe work practices and coach apprentices
- Participate in Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Complete all required safety, quality, and maintenance documentation and system entries
- Support a high-performance culture focused on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
What you’ll bring:
- NSW Electrical Trade Qualification & License
- Driver’s License
- Strong fault-finding, safety focus, and teamwork skills
Bonus skills:
- PLC programming, mechanical aptitude, computer literacy
Hours:
- Day shift 7.00am to 330pm
- Availability for extended hours during harvest periods may be required, in line with fatigue management guidelines
