The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Director of Cloud, Infrastructure and Modern Workplace to lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing team of architects and engineers. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Solutions and Services. This role is both strategic and hands-on— you will shape go-to-market strategies, drive consulting and implementation services, and collaborate across the business to accelerate revenue growth while serving as a trusted advisor to our customers.

As Director, you will manage, coach, and develop a team of Solutions Architects and Engineers, ensuring they have the skills, resources, and guidance to deliver exceptional results. Your leadership will directly impact customer success, fuel innovation, and support Paragon Micro’s continued expansion in the IT solutions space. The primary focus areas for this role will include Data Center, Cloud, and Modern Workplace solutions.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Empower a High-Performing Team

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Solutions Architects and      Engineers, ensuring they have the skills, resources, and guidance to      excel.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous      learning.
• Partner with Sales teams to expand adoption of advanced technology      solutions.

Drive Strategy & Growth

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership to design      and execute go-to-market strategies that accelerate revenue growth.
• Serve as a thought leader, identifying new technologies, partners,      and market opportunities.
• Act as a subject matter expert—guiding solution design and      providing leadership on complex technical challenges.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to keep our      solutions innovative and competitive.
• Lead the creation of new service lines or productized offerings,      from concept to successful market launch.

Champion the Customer

• Deliver measurable customer outcomes through practical, scalable      technology solutions.
• Build lasting client relationships, positioning Paragon Micro as a      trusted advisor.
• Translate customer insights into solution enhancements and new      offerings.

Foster Collaboration Across the Business

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery      and knowledge sharing.
• Coach Sales teams on customer needs analysis and solution      positioning.

Drive Process Excellence

• Standardize methodologies for solution design, proof-of-concept      demonstrations, and technical documentation.
• Oversee pre-sales processes, technical delivery plans, and      capability roadmaps.
• Continuously refine frameworks to enhance efficiency, scalability,      and customer satisfaction.

Be a Brand Ambassador

• Represent Paragon Micro at customer meetings, industry events, and      trade shows as a trusted thought leader.
• Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with technology      vendors and service providers to expand our solution offerings and market      impact.

Requirements

Qualifications

· 15+ years of experience in consulting, solution architecture, engineering leadership, or technology delivery roles.

· Proven success in building and scaling technical consulting or engineering teams within a B2B environment (VAR or solutions provider experience strongly preferred).

· Track record of leading large-scale, complex digital transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.

· Deep understanding of modern engineering practices, including cloud-native architectures, DevOps pipelines, automation platforms, and infrastructure delivery.

· Ability to translate technical depth into business value, communicating effectively with executives, customers, and delivery teams.

· Exceptional stakeholder management and customer relationship skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

· Experience working in a matrixed organization, collaborating across sales, product, and marketing.
