The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Transportation Coordinator to our Freight team. This role will be responsible for is responsible for tracking and tracing shipments, tendering loads to carriers, and ensuring timely communication with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Track and trace all active shipments, ensuring accurate status updates and proactive issue resolution
• Tender loads to contracted carriers and work to drive timely tender acceptance
• Communicate effectively with external vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve in-transit issues, delays, or service concerns
• Monitor Transportation Management System (TMS) for exceptions, service failures, and load status updates
• Assist in managing appointment scheduling and freight-related documentation
• Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems to ensure accurate reporting and visibility
• Support KPI tracking, such as on-time pickup/delivery and tender acceptance rates
• Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely and cost-effective resolutions
• Support cross-functional coordination with warehouse, planning, and customer service teams
  
  

The Perfect Blend: Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations role
• Familiarity with tendering loads, working with common carriers, and track & trace responsibilities
• Comfortable using Excel, Outlook, and email for daily work; experience with TMS platforms (Blue Yonder) and SAP is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
• Some analytical capability: able to interpret data and identify trends or exceptions
• Previous experience working in or with a transportation planning or execution team
• Knowledge of basic transportation terms and processes (e.g., FTL, LTL, appointment scheduling)
• Experience coordinating with 3PLs, brokers, or asset-based carriers
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future  
• Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana Plant in Bradenton, FL.
