GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To contribute to effective school and public relations by prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors; to help increase the efficiency in the performance of tasks; to support the Office Manager to ensure the school runs smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Process all phone traffic for the school office.
- Assist families with the registration of students.
- Perform duplication and copying procedures as directed.
- Enter student/family data into school data base.
- Keyboard, filing, 10 key calculator and related office duties.
- Assist teachers and support staff with student and family files.
- Assist guest teachers with student lists, school schedules and related information.
- Assist Office Manager with all accounting matters of the school.
- Assist Office Manager with all student information related matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Computer competent in word processing, spread sheet and data base.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with the public, staff and students.
- Ability to work cooperatively with office personnel and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and personnel records.
- Bilingual Preferred.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus and monitor students on the periphery.
Work Environment:
The employee regularly works indoors.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Level 3 on Board approved $14.77- $15.59 per hour Support Staff Wage Schedule
10 month position (195 Days)
8 hours/day, Monday-Friday
