$20.32/hour after a 60-day probationary period
Must have or be willing to obtain a Substitute Authorization license issued by the Iowa Department of Education.
TITLE: Campus Monitor
DATE: July 2023
REPORTS TO: Building Principal or Designee
QUALIFICATIONS: Pleasant personality, ability to work well with staff and students.
JOB GOAL: Providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for ensuring the safety and welfare of students during classroom and non-classroom activities; minimizing the frequency and/or severity of harmful incidents; and communicating observations and/or incidents that have a potential impact on the general well-being of students, school personnel, and/or visitors.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salary and work year assigned according to the Letter of Assignment.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated by the building level administrator.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Stooping and kneeling occasionally. Reaching, talking, and hearing frequently. Must be able to remain mobile throughout the work day.
