We are currently looking for a

2^nd Shift Operator I

As an Operator I, you will be responsible for proficiency in the following machines:  Rotocure, Presses, Laminator, and Warm Up Mill. You will report to the Production Supervisor and be part of the Production Team. This role is based in Beacon, New York. This position works 3pm to 11pm Monday through Friday with weekend overtime required when scheduled.  Starting pay is $19.23/hour with $1.00 Shift Differential.

A day in the life of an Operator I can look like

• Tests all safety devices/emergency stop buttons at the start of each shift
• Conducts safety audit of area at the start of each shift
• Completes Hoist Safety Checklist at the start of each shift
• Notifies Supervisor of any safety hazard found during shift
• Review production schedule and verify expectations for the shift
• Reads process route sheet (PRS) to determine specifics of job scheduled
• Gathers appropriate material for job (poly, compound, fabric, shells, etc)
• Operate machine according to Standard Operating Procedures

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• High School Level Math Skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills 
• Prior forklift experience 
• Leadership acumen
