Security Systems Technician

Responsabilities:

• Manages entirety of security systems, including new and legacy systems, as well as the transition from legacy to new.
• Supervises and coordinates the development, implementation and operation of security systems and technology systems for the hospital’s needs.
• Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures related to security systems as well as training for end users.
• Management of security systems database and proactive troubleshooting and resolution/sustainability.
• Periodically examines systems to locate problems such as loose connections or damaged devices.

• Installs, maintains, or repairs analog and IP cameras, access control systems, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

   

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience installing/repairing access control systems required. Comprehensive knowledge of integrated security systems required. 
• Certified in Honeywell Prowatch, Axis cameras, Salient CompleteView 2020 preferred but not required.
