Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $15.50 - $24.00 hourly (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team as soon as possible. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be critical in coordinating corporate events, weddings, conferences, and other social gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a variety of events from conception to completion, including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Collaborate with clients to analyze their needs and objectives, providing thoughtful recommendations and solutions.
- Select venues, coordinate with vendors, and manage logistics to ensure successful event execution.
- Create and manage budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and kept within designated limits.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are addressed promptly.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role, with a strong track record of successful event execution.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and vendors.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
