What you’ll achieve
As an Engineer Technician 3, you will be challenged to manage inbound and outbound logistics of prototype inventories for Dell Client platforms teams. The role is an onsite position at the Parmer South Campus, working Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm, and requires you to work directly with platform Project Managers, Dell Engineers and Marketing Subject Matter Experts associated with new Dell platforms. You will also work with Original Design Manufacturers who have established partnerships with Dell Technologies.

You will:

• Manage prototype inbound and outbound logistics of Dell notebooks and desktops as well as Dell's Rugged Client Platforms
• Communicate product readiness to Engineers and Marketing team members
• Ensure that Dell prototypes are secured and tracked for Engineering and Marketing

Essential Requirements:

• 1+ year experience in a technician, tech support role or similar skill
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Skilled working with databases
• Knowledge of Dell product lines (Consumer and Enterprise) and an understanding of client platforms
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to lift 30-50 pounds when needed

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics requirements and Export Compliance regulations
• Understanding of platform life cycles

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this position is $25.75 - $33.32.
