Unit Description:Patina Group is a leader in the premium segment of the restaurant and catering industry, operating restaurants and managing catering and food service operations at high-profile venues including, Lincoln Center, Walt Disney World®, Disneyland®, the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and The Metropolitan Opera. Responsibilities:- Assist with the initial catering lead responses, sending menus, standard event details, and photos of the hotel, record keeping, and inventory management
- Handle all third-party rentals for groups and manage deposit schedules for booked events
- Manage inventory and generate merged documents such as proposals, contracts, and details for manager review
- Assist with posting banquet revenue, review banquet checks for accuracy, and assist the International Sales Manager with property site visits
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate details, special requests, VIP packages, and promotions
- Minimum of 1 year of sales, administrative, or coordinator experience required, preferably in a hotel capacity
- Ability to work event hours, including some holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Product,s including Word and Excel; experience with hotel property management systems a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- No high school diploma or GED required
