What you will do: 

  • Analysis of current mechanical and environmental requirements and verification steps, investigation of potential reductions and cost/time saving potentials of base station antennas and remote radio products 
  • Adjustment of our mechanical requirements in terms of standardization and simplification 
  • Creation of the mechanical requirement documents of base station antennas and support for the project team to fulfill those requirements 
  • Supporting EMC and LVD Risk Assessments for the Base Station Antennas 
  • Coordination and active participation in interdisciplinary development projects and innovation studies  

 

The skills you bring: 

  • Successfully completed master's or diploma studies in mechanical engineering or mechatronics 
  • Several years of experience in product development – from conceptualization and detailing to preparing components, assemblies, and products for series production 
  • High competence in the selection of and design with materials and solutions: metals, PCBs, dielectric, foils 
  • Solid systematical understanding of the mechanical aspects that enable feasible, effective component and system materialization to the highest industry standards 
  • Good knowledge of industrial, European and international standards (IEC, NEBS, UL, ETSI etc.) applied the RF context 
  • Knowledge of product safety  
  • Work experience across interdisciplinary teams and team work mentality 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Knowledge in CAD- (z. B. PTC CREO) und CAE-Kenntnisse (z. B. ANSYS) are advantages  
  • Effective written and spoken communications skill in English and German
