The Role
As a Senior Expeditor with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc
- Coordinate and monitor supplier progress remotely from the office to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in accordance with purchase order terms.
- Track and expedite all vendor deliverables, including engineering drawings, documentation, manufacturing schedules, and shipping notifications.
- Maintain detailed records and progress updates in procurement tracking systems (e.g., SmartPlant Materials, SAP, or equivalent).
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to obtain progress status, identify delays, and implement recovery plans when needed.
- Interface with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Document Control, Logistics, and Project Controls to align vendor deliverables with project requirements.
- Review and follow up on vendor document submittals and approvals to prevent delays in fabrication or shipment.
- Prepare and issue expediting reports, dashboards, and exception lists for internal project stakeholders and management.
- Ensure vendors comply with contractual milestones and documentation requirements.
- Identify critical-path items and raise alerts on potential delivery risks to the Procurement Lead and Project Manager.
- Attend project procurement and progress review meetings as required.

About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in desk expediting within EPC, LSTK, or EPCM projects in the oil & gas or energy industry.
- Proven experience with complex, multi-discipline equipment and material procurement tracking and expediting.
- Proficiency in expediting and project tracking software (e.g., SmartPlant Materials, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor documentation, and international supply chains.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience working in a global consulting or PMC environment.
- Understanding of vendor document requirements (VDRs), manufacturing lead times, and document control workflows.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and logistics coordination (desk-level only).
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus.
