Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
- Providing expert renewal analysis & delivery
- Delivering outstanding service and selling new lines of business

Who You Are:- Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.
- Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
- Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.
- Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers.
Location
This position supports our Houston, TX sales office. We are willing to hire someone in the Houston or the San Antonio area (with expectation for travel).
Work Environment
This role offers the ability for a hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. You will be required to go into the office 3 days per week if you live in the Houston area. Management reserves the right to adjust the days required in office.
