Overview

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering reliable technology support across the organization, from resolving end-user issues to deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure in clinics. This role combines traditional end-user support with hands-on systems administration, networking, and onsite fieldwork — including equipment installation and low-voltage cabling for new and existing clinics.

Key Responsibilities

End-User & Technical Support

  • Provide timely and effective technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Assist remote employees with technical issues, ensuring a consistent IT experience across all locations.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT while maintaining ownership until resolution.

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Deploy software updates, patches, and security enhancements with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records, service requests, and technical documentation for troubleshooting, installs, updates, and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing and IT security protocols, including user authentication, access controls, and encryption.

Networking & Connectivity

  • Troubleshoot and support wired/wireless networks, VPN setups, and network-connected devices (e.g., printers).
  • Collaborate on system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and VLAN configurations to assist in network-related tasks.

Fieldwork & Onsite Infrastructure

  • Travel to existing and new clinic locations to install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, AV systems, and networking hardware.
  • Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling to support networking, phones, security cameras, and other infrastructure.
  • Work closely with facilities to ensure new clinic technology setups meet organizational standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to improve performance, security, and user experience.
  • Empower employees to use technology tools more effectively, improving efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or 3+ years of equivalent IT experience.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support in a professional environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IP Professional (MCITP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and VLAN.
  • Ability to run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Works well in a fast paced always changing environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to clinic locations for new builds, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
