Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Administration Assistants to join the team in the Support at Home (SaH) Program

 

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

 

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

 

About the Role:

As a member of the Northern Health Support at Home (NH SaH) Program administration team you will contribute to the effective, efficient and compliant functioning of NHSaH to achieve the most positive consumer and service outcomes.

 

This position is fixed term part time (64 hours per fortnight) until 30th June 2026

 

This role requires telephone support to consumers and staff, data collection and maintenance, maintenance of records, communication with outside agencies, processing orders and invoices for purchased services and general office duties

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Proven ability to provide good customer service
  • Ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with other Administration staff, clinical care partners and Clinical Coordinators
  • Knowledge of Aged Care funding and My Aged Care is preferred.
