Your Role
Step into a key role within Talent Acquisition for IAG’s Retail Insurance Australia and Intermediated Insurance Australia divisions, which represent iconic names like NRMA, Rollin, CGU, and WFI. In this 12-month max term opportunity, you will manage talent acquisition activities for a wide range of roles, including Actuarial, Data, Insurance Product, Digital, and Senior Leadership positions. You will join a team and organisation that’s actively shaping the future workforce.
This hands-on role will see you working within squads, where adaptability and flexibility are key. You’ll drive skills-based hiring and lead innovative sourcing strategies, helping us find the right talent to meet our future needs. Collaborating closely with senior leaders across these brands, you’ll act as a strategic advisor, guiding them on how to think beyond traditional sourcing methods. Operating in a new model and the recent implementation of cutting-edge technology, we’re driving skills-based hiring and reimagining our sourcing strategies. In this role, you’ll not only deliver exceptional talent aligned with our strategic goals and ambitions, but also play a key part in evolving our approach to sourcing, assessment, and candidate engagement.
Your role will be essential in advancing our approach to talent acquisition, from sourcing to assessment, to candidate engagement. With a growth mindset, you’ll embrace change and help to shape the future of Talent Acquisition at IAG while ensuring a diverse, inclusive, and forward-thinking approach.
This is a 12-month max term role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).
About You
- You bring significant experience in Talent Acquisition, with a focus on skills-based hiring and innovative sourcing techniques. In this dynamic role, you’ll work across a variety of functions, including Actuarial, Data, Insurance Product, Digital, helping us secure top talent for some of IAG’s most critical teams.
- You’re comfortable working alongside senior leaders, advising them sourcing strategies and helping them move beyond traditional hiring approaches. You’ll leverage CRM tools and your deep expertise in talent acquisition to build smarter, more effective processes.
- You have a growth mindset, always looking for ways to innovate and improve, and you thrive in flexible environment.

- A strategic advisor, with a keen eye for sourcing talent based on skills and potential
- Experienced in skills-based hiring, able to build pipelines and assess candidates for their abilities, not just their qualifications
- A collaborative team player, passionate about improving recruitment processes and enhancing the candidate experience
- Someone who embraces change, continuously innovating and seeking ways to elevate the recruitment function
