Hybrid AEM Technical Architect

Please note that due to the project demands, for this position we can only consider candidates that are German and English fluent.

We are searching for a new team-mate to join our team as soon as possible, full-time – ideally in Vienna/Graz/Wels (partially working from home) or alternatively fully remote from Austria (if somewhere more distant).

As a Technical Architect at IBM iX, you design and deliver solutions for some of the biggest brands within DACH region and beyond, from various industry clusters. This is a hybrid role - on the one hand you develop concepts, challenge requirements, and on the other hand, you lead the dev team, ensure quality as well as optimally utilizing the possibilities of the Adobe Experience Cloud. You will own the technical responsibility within our projects. In succeeding this, you will have all needed resources at your disposal, as we are proud to be called Platinum Adobe Partner.

Your Tasks

• You passionately strive towards quality and great user-experience
• You develop the technical concept with your project team and present it to our client
• You work closely with the product owner and the client team on backlog topics, acceptance criteria, and user stories
• You lead and mentor the development team, provide guidelines and open feedback
• You are the first contact for the development team for critical technical questions and support them hands-on if necessary
• You facilitate workshops for technical topics with your project team and/or the client team
• You take care of non-functional system requirements including security, maintainability, availability, etc.
• You write clean, maintainable, testable, and understandable code
• You drive unit and integrations testing within your project team

Your Profile

• You have at least 4 years of experience in Java Web development
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS implementations are a must (in e.g. Magnolia, FS & Contentful)
• Experience with other tools (Campaign, Analytics, Workfront) from the Adobe Experience Cloud is an advantage
• Adobe certified AEM Developer, Dev/Ops, or Architect is an advantage
• Experience acting as a subject matter expert and forming close connections with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You know how to create and present architecture overview, use-case, state machine, sequence, activity, and component diagrams
• You can coach the delivery team in writing Unit and Integration Tests
• You ensure code quality using Static Code Analysis and Continuous Integration tools like SonarQube and Jenkins
• You enjoy open feedback and learning opportunities from the peers
• You are bringing your passion for technology to life by inspiring our customers with your enthusiasm and innovative insights
• You have excellent presentation and communication skills in German (min. B2) and English (min. C1)
