Looking for a new and exciting job opportunity?  We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis.

What You Will Do

 

Reporting to the Program Manager, and you will provide overall project and program management support, including planning, coordination, integration and administration for the overall program and its activities and deliverables across assigned Innovation and Sustainability Group (ISG) – Capital Projects. 

 

Other responsibilities of your role will include:

 

  • Implementing and managing multi-year, multi-discipline capital projects, programs and portfolios from inception, planning, design, procurement and production through safety certification, commissioning, and to project close-out.
  • Coordinating and managing activities across projects and programs to ensure interdependencies are communicated, managed and to ensure project integration.
  • Assisting in developing targets and criteria to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and success of the project, including the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project.
  • Identifying gaps as it relates to the project requirements and the TTC’s ability to deliver on larger objectives and making recommendations on options and impacts while considering budgets, headcount and schedules.
  • Developing and implementing project control systems, cost evaluation methodologies and performance evaluation criteria for consultant/contractor selection in accordance with established corporate policies and guidelines.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to review and ensure program/project impacts are seamless protecting the needs of the Innovation and Sustainability Group.
  • Establishing relationships and maintaining buy-in from key stakeholders in the organization to support project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Preparing reports and presentations for both internal and external parties, including Board Reports.
  • Identifying, monitoring and providing oversight on interdependencies across programs/projects, and resolving conflicts as necessary.
  • Managing scope and cost of project to ensure it remains within budget and timeframes. Monitoring progress to reduce risks and initiating timely corrective action when required.
  • Evaluating and assessing the effectiveness and results of various projects, initiatives and programs within the Group.
