Children In Care Service – Empowering Young Lives 

Join our dedicated Children in Care team as a Team Manager and take on a key role in shaping the future of our service. Based in Salisbury, this position covers the South region of the county. 

Our Children in Care and Young People’s service is dedicated to supporting children and young people who are looked after or leaving care. We ensure they are placed in environments that meet their needs and provide them with the best opportunities to thrive. In recognition of our commitment and impact, we were proud to receive an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted in September 2023. 

As the Team Manager, you will lead by example, using data and audits to quality assure performance and ensure the delivery of effective assessments and appropriate services where needed. You will be responsible for allocating cases, chair case-specific meetings and safeguarding children and young people within the team in line with multi-agency procedures.  

To be successful in this role, you must be a registered Social Worker with significant post-qualification experience. You’ll bring a strong background in working with children in need, managing child protection plans, and leading interventions under the Public Law Outline. A thorough understanding of key childcare legislation and assessment processes is essential, along with proven experience in leading and supervising a team effectively.

This position comes with a 10% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
